You need permission to update work orders. Owners, Admins, and Members have it by default. Without it, you see the assignee but can’t change it.
Each work order has one assignee. You can set the assignee when you create the work order or change it later.

Assign a work order

1

Open the work order

In the sidebar, under Maintenance, click Work Orders, then click the work order.
2

Choose the assignee

In the People card, click the Assignee field. Search for a member and select them. To remove the assignee, select Unassigned.
The change saves right away. The new assignee gets an email notification.
Which members appear in the assignee list depends on the assignee roles in work order settings.
To find work orders that still need an owner, filter the Work Orders list by Assignee and select Unassigned.

Change the priority

1

Open the work order

Click the work order you want to change.
2

3
