Preventive maintenance (PM) lets you schedule regular servicing instead of waiting for equipment to fail. You create a PM schedule once, and Relyant creates a work order each time the schedule is due.

How it works

  1. You create a PM schedule with a work order template: the title, description, location, asset, priority, category, assignee, and any attachments.
  2. You set how often it repeats, such as every 3 months on the first Monday at 9:00.
  3. At each scheduled time, Relyant creates a work order from the template with Open status.
  4. The work order follows the normal work order lifecycle.

Open preventive maintenance

In the sidebar, under Maintenance, click Preventive Maintenance. The list shows each schedule’s Name, Location, Asset, Frequency, Next Due time, Status, and Assignee. Search by name, location, or asset, and filter by Status or Frequency.
