Open a booking to review it and act on it. In the List or Board view, click a booking. In a calendar view, click a booking block.
Relyant no longer uses booking types. Every booking has a room, a time, a purpose, and any custom fields your organization adds in location booking settings.

Approve or reject a booking

When a booking needs your approval, a banner appears at the top of the booking. The banner also shows Availability on this day, with the booking as a dashed block against the room’s other bookings.
1

Open the booking

Open a Submitted booking. You can also find bookings that need your decision on the Approvals page.
2

Decide

Click Approve to confirm the booking. To turn it down, click Reject, enter a reason, then click Reject again. The requester is notified.
If an approval rule names specific approvers, only those people can decide. See approval settings.

Assign people to a booking

A booking can have several assignees, such as the person who prepares the room and a technician. On the booking, under People, use Assigned to to add or remove assignees. Newly added assignees get an email that also lists their co-assignees. Your organization can limit who appears in the assignee picker under Who can be assigned? in location booking settings.

You can cancel your own bookings. People with permission to cancel location bookings can cancel anyone’s. Only Submitted and Approved bookings can be cancelled. The requester and every assignee are notified. For a recurring booking, you choose which occurrences to cancel. See Recurring bookings.

Other actions

  • Add to Google Calendar — opens a prefilled Google Calendar event for an approved booking in your own calendar.
  • Add Link — links the booking to a related record.
If your organization connects the Google Calendar integration, approved bookings are added to shared Google calendars automatically. The requester, the approver, and every assignee are invited to the event. The invite list updates when the booking is approved or edited.
