Settings appears in the Education sidebar only for roles that can create students — by default Owner, Admin, and Super Admin.
The Preferences page is the last item in the Settings sidebar, under Other. It holds a personal preference for your device and, if you can manage the organization, the switches for optional Education modules.

In the Education app, click Settings at the bottom of the left rail.

Under Other, click Preferences.

Confirm when switching academic year

Most Education pages are scoped to the academic year selected in the year picker at the top of the sidebar. When you collapse the sidebar, and on phones, the picker sits in the top bar instead. By default, Relyant asks you to confirm before it switches to a different year.
This preference is stored in your browser on this device only. It doesn’t affect other staff, and you need to set it again on another device or browser.

Edu modules

The Edu Modules card lets you enable or disable optional modules for your whole organization. You only see this card if your role can update the organization (by default Owner and Admin). Flip the switch to turn the module on or off. The change saves immediately and applies to everyone in your organization. If the save fails, the switch reverts and you see an error message.

Create the years you switch between in the year picker.
