Required role: Owner or Admin. Teachers and requesters can view classes but can’t create, edit, or delete them.
Settings → Classes shows the same class list as the main Classes page, inside the Settings layout so the settings sidebar stays visible. Use it to set up class structure while you configure a new year. Classes are scoped to the academic year selected in the year picker at the top of the sidebar. Switch years to see or create classes for a different year.

The class list

The table shows each class’s Class Name, Grade, and Students count. Use Search classes… to find a class by name, or filter by Grade.

Create classes

1

Check the academic year

Make sure the year picker shows the year you want to add classes to.
2

Start a new class

Click New class.
3

Pick a grade and name the classes

Choose a Grade, then type each name under Class names (for example, A, B, C). Press Enter or a comma after each name to create several classes at once.
4

Save

Save to create the classes in the selected year.

Edit or delete classes

  • Edit — open a row’s menu and click Edit to change the Class name or grade.
  • Delete — open a row’s menu and click Delete. You can’t delete a class that has enrollments or attendance records.
  • Bulk actions — select several rows to Change Grade or Delete them together. If some classes can’t be deleted, Relyant tells you why and deletes the rest.
When you start a new year, you don’t need to recreate every class. Use Copy Classes in the year-end transition to bring your class structure forward.
