Admission covers your intake process, from the first form a parent fills in to a new student record. It has four pages: Overview, Inquiries, Applications, and Forms.
Admission is a feature your organization must turn on. When it’s off, the Admission group is hidden from the left rail. You need student read permission to see admission data, and student create permission to enroll an inquiry as a student.

How admissions work

Each family has one admission record that moves through two stages: an Inquiry while you follow up a lead, and an Application once the family applies. The owner, documents, and activity stay with the record when it moves.
1

Parents submit a form

You share a public link to your Inquiry Form or Student Form, a tagged campaign link, or embed the form on your website. Inquiry form responses land in Inquiries. Application form responses land in Applications with the status Applied. The family gets a receipt email, and staff who can enroll students are notified. See Admission forms.
2

Follow up inquiries

Inquiries start as New. Move them to Contacted, then click Start application when the family applies. See Inquiries.
3

Work through applications

Collect documents and move the application through Documents, Interview, Placement Test, Offer, and Accepted. See Applications.
4

Enroll the student

Click Enroll as Student to create the student and guardian records, optionally in a class. Custom answers and uploaded files carry over to the student. The record is marked Enrolled.

Overview page

In the left rail, click Admission, then Overview. The table shows one row per grade for the academic year selected in the sidebar year picker, plus a Total row. Click any count, for a grade or the Total row, to open a side panel listing the classes, students, or inquiries and applications behind it. Search the list, and click a row to open that class, student, or record. Families can pick an Intake Year on your admission forms, and staff can change it in the Pipeline card of each record. Records submitted before intake years existed use the academic year that contains their submission date. See Admission forms.

Admissions funnel

The Admissions funnel card counts records submitted in the last 30 days, 90 days, or 12 months. It shows four stages: Received (inquiries and applications), Applications, Offers, and Enrolled. Each stage shows its rate of the previous step. Offers counts records currently at Offer, Accepted, or Enrolled, so a declined offer drops out.
If the table is empty, set up grades first. See Grades.
