Steps
1
Go to Supply Requests
In the left sidebar, click Supply Requests, then click New Request.
2
Choose a storage location
If asked, select the storage location you want to request from. The catalog shows items and stock for that location. If your organization uses a single location, it’s chosen for you.
3
Add items to the basket
Search or browse the catalog, or switch the search to Barcode to scan. Click an item, enter the quantity, and click Done. The item appears in the Request Basket. For an item with variants, such as uniform sizes, clicking it opens a list of its variants with the stock of each. Pick one to add it. Each variant is its own line in the basket, such as “Polo shirt — M”. Scanning a variant’s barcode adds that variant directly.
4
Review the basket
Click an item in the basket to change its quantity, or click Clear to start over. To change a variant, remove the line and add the other variant. On a phone, tap Continue to see the basket.
5
Continue
Click Continue.
6
Add a title and notes
Enter a Request Title, such as “Science Lab Supplies”, and any Notes. Fill in any custom fields your organization added. Required fields only need to be filled in when you submit.
7
Submit
Click Submit Request to send it for approval, or Save as Draft to finish later.
If your organization uses Restricted stock validation, you can only request up to the quantity available at the selected location. For items with variants, the limit is per variant, and a variant with no stock can’t be picked. See Supply request settings.
Track your request
Open Supply Requests and click the Created by Me tab. Click a request to see its status, the Requested, Approved, and Dispensed quantities for each item, and its Activity History. You receive an email when the request is ready for collection.Edit or cancel a request
- A Draft request can be submitted with Submit, cancelled with Cancel Request, or removed with Delete.
- A Submitted request can still be cancelled with Cancel Request while it waits for approval.
