Open the app
Each Relyant app runs on its own subdomain. Stock & Inventory is served on theinventory subdomain, for example inventory.on.relyant.app, and opens on its home screen.
To switch to it from another app:
1
Open the app switcher
Click the grid icon (Apps) in the top bar.
2
Choose Stock & Inventory
Click Stock & Inventory.
The app only appears when your organization has it turned on and your role can read at least one of inventory, supply requests, purchase requests, purchase orders, or suppliers. If you open the URL without that access, Relyant sends you back to the hub.
Home screen
The home screen shows tiles in two sections:- Requests & Orders — Supply Requests, Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, and Approvals
- Manage — Inventory, Suppliers, Reports, and Settings
Sidebar sections
On a phone, tap the menu icon to open the sidebar. The bottom bar gives quick access to Home, Inventory, Supply, Orders, and Settings.
You only see items for modules your organization has turned on and that your role can read. Supply Requests, Purchase Requests, and Purchase Orders (with Suppliers) are separate modules. Settings appears when you can view at least one of its pages.
How the pieces fit together
- Staff raise a supply request to take items that are already in stock.
- When stock needs topping up, staff raise a purchase request.
- Approvers decide supply and purchase requests in Approvals, and purchase orders too when a workflow requires approval.
- An approved purchase request becomes a purchase order for a supplier.
- When the delivery arrives, you receive goods, which adds stock to your inventory.
