Notes in Scribe are private until you share them. You can share a single note, or group notes into a folder and share the folder.
Only the owner of a note or folder can change its sharing settings. You can only invite people who are members of your organization.

Share a note

1

Open the share dialog

Open the note and click Share.
2

Invite people (optional)

In Search staff or enter an email, find a colleague. Choose View or Edit, then add them. To remove someone later, click Remove next to their name.
3

Set link access

Under Link access, choose who can open the note’s link:
  • Only people invited: only you and the people you invited
  • Everyone in the organization: anyone in your organization who has the link
  • Anyone with the link: anyone, with no sign-in required
4

Copy the link

Click Copy link and send it.
With Anyone with the link, anyone who has the link can view the summary, notes, and transcript without signing in. The public page opens on the summary and also has tabs for notes and the transcript.
If a note is in a shared folder, the folder’s members can also view it.

Organize notes in folders

  1. In the sidebar under Folders, click New folder, enter a Folder name, and click Create.
  2. Open the folder and click Add notes, then search for the notes to add.
  3. To file a single note, choose the folder from the folder menu inside the note.
You can also select several notes in All records with Select, then click Add to folder.
Deleting a folder doesn’t delete its notes. They become unfiled, and folder members lose access through the folder.
