# Apps & features

> Turn apps and features on or off for your whole school and set the app order

> **Required role:** **Owner** or **Admin**

The **Apps & features** page in the Admin console is where you set the order of your apps and turn off apps and features your organization doesn't use. Changes apply to everyone in your organization.

To turn an app off for certain roles only, turn it off for their role instead. Click **Open roles** under the app's name, or see [Roles](https://docs.relyant.app/organization/members/roles.md).

## Open Apps & features

**1. Open the Admin console**

Open **Settings** to go to the Admin console.

**2. Go to Apps & features**

Under **Organization**, click **Apps & features**.

The page lists your apps on the left. Click an app to open its settings on the right. On a phone, the settings appear under the list.

## Set the app order

Drag an app by its handle to move it. The order you set is the one everyone sees in the app switcher, hub, and inbox. People can still rearrange their own apps. Once you've changed the order, click **Reset order** to go back to the default order.

## Turn apps and features on or off

1. Click an app in the list.
2. Use the switch next to the app's name to turn the whole app on or off. Turning an app off hides it for everyone in your organization. Nothing is deleted.
3. Under **Feature**, use the **On** switch on each feature row to turn it on or off.
4. Click **Save changes** in the bar at the bottom of the page, or **Discard** to undo.

Owners and admins always see every feature that's on. An app that isn't part of your plan shows **Not included in your plan** and a **View plans** button. See [Billing](https://docs.relyant.app/organization/billing.md).

>
> You can no longer hide a feature from a specific role. Turn the whole app off for a role instead. If a feature was hidden from a role earlier, its row shows **Hidden from** with the role names. Click **Clear** to remove it.
