# Relyant for Operations overview

> Run facilities, maintenance, stock, purchasing, and help desk work for your school

**Relyant for Operations** brings together the apps your operations, facilities, and IT teams use day to day. Each app focuses on one area of work, and they share the same members, locations, and assets.

## The apps

| App | What you use it for |
| - | - |
| **Facilities & Assets** | Work orders, maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, room and asset bookings, transport, and your register of assets and locations |
| **Stock & Inventory** | Stock levels, supply requests, purchase requests, purchase orders, and suppliers |
| **Help Desk** | Structured requests for IT, facilities, HR, and other internal services, with configurable types and approvals |
| **Events** | Ticketed and free school events, with a public events page, online and manual payments, reserved seating, and check-in at the door |

## Open an app

Each app runs on its own subdomain, for example `facilities.on.relyant.app` or `inventory.on.relyant.app`. To move between apps:

**1. Open the app switcher**

Click the grid icon (**Apps**) in the top bar.

**2. Choose an app**

Click the app you want to open. Click **Home** instead to return to the hub that lists all your apps.

> You only see the apps your organization has turned on and that your role can access. Admins turn apps on and off in the [Admin console](https://docs.relyant.app/organization/organization-settings.md).
