# Home settings

> Publish an announcement banner on the dashboard home page

Home settings let you publish an announcement banner for everyone in your organization. The banner appears at the top of the dashboard home page.

> You need permission to update settings to use this page.

## Open home settings

Click **Settings** at the bottom of the sidebar, then click **Home**. When you open **Settings**, Relyant shows this page first.

## Publish an announcement banner

**1. Write the announcement**

Under **Announcement Banner**, enter a **Title**. Optionally, add a **Description**.

**2. Add a button (optional)**

Enter **CTA Button Text** and a **CTA Link**. The button opens the link in a new tab.

**3. Publish the banner**

Turn on the switch next to **Announcement Banner**. Changes save automatically. The page header shows **Saving…** and then **Saved**.

To unpublish the banner, turn the switch off. Your title, description, and button stay saved for next time.

## Banner fields

| Field | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Announcement Banner** switch | Publishes or unpublishes the banner for all users. Off by default. |
| **Title** | The headline of the banner. The banner only shows when it has a title. |
| **Description** | Extra text shown next to the title. |
| **CTA Button Text** | The label of an optional button on the banner. |
| **CTA Link** | The web address the button opens. The button only shows when you enter both button text and a link. |
