# Reports overview

> Analyze work orders, bookings, and transport trips, or ask AI for a report

**Reports** turns your Facilities & Assets data into charts and tables. Each report lets you choose what to measure, how to group the results, and which records to include. You can then open the underlying records or export the results.

> You need permission to view reports. The **Reports** link is hidden for the Requester role.

## Open Reports

**1. Go to Reports**

In the sidebar, under **Workspace**, click **Reports**. You can also click the **Reports** tile on the home page.

**2. Pick a report**

The sidebar switches to the reports menu. Click the report you want. Click **Back** to return to the main menu.

When you open **Reports**, you land on **Ask AI** if the AI Chat module is enabled for your organization. Otherwise, you land on the **Work Orders** report.

> On a small screen, use the **Select report** dropdown at the top of the page to switch between reports.

## Available reports

Reports only appear for modules your organization has enabled.

| Report | Module | What it measures | Default date range |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Work Orders** | Maintenance | Work orders, average time to completion, or average time to respond. A **Ratings** tab shows work order ratings. | All time |
| **Bookings** > **Location Bookings** | Location Booking | Location bookings | All time |
| **Bookings** > **Asset Bookings** | Asset Booking | Asset bookings | All time |
| **Transport** | Transport | Completed trips, distance, and trip costs | Current month |

## Ask AI

If the AI Chat module is enabled, **Ask AI** appears at the top of the reports page with a **New** badge. Type a question in plain English, such as "Show me work orders by status for the last 6 months." Ask AI builds the chart and table for you.

* Click a suggestion card to start with a ready-made question.
* Click **History** to reopen a previous report chat.
* Click **New chat** to start over.

Charts and tables from Ask AI can be downloaded as CSV, PNG, and PDF. The data is scoped to your role. See [Ask AI](https://docs.relyant.app/ask-ai/overview.md) for more.
